About Royal Truck Body: A Brief History

CEO Dudley De Zonia started Royal Truck Body in 1971. The Company has had a continued pattern of growth since its inception and recently that growth has been taking place at an ever-accelerating pace.

In 1995, Royal Truck Body became a bailment pool company for Chevrolet; in 1997, we became a converter pool company for both Ford and GMC; and in 2000, we added Dodge. In 1999/2000 we purchased River City Truck Equipment in Northern California, now called Royal River City - and we have recently opened new branches in Rialto California, Phoenix Arizona, Seattle Washington and Haslet Texas.

Royal Truck Body is now the largest service body company in the Western United States. We have 200,000 Square feet of manufacturing space at our principal facility in Paramount Ca. In addition we have in excess of 100,000 square feet of combined manufacturing space at our branch locations.

Royal Truck Body keeps a fleet of trucks ready for immediate delivery. They are equipped with the most popular upfits to ensure quick turnaround.

Our Paramount Facility

Royal's Paramount plant consists of 200,000 square feet of manufacturing and warehousing under a roof that sits on 7 ½ acres. Chassis cabs in our inventory are secured in separate yards that are fenced and lighted.

Our Team in Sacramento

The entire staff is dedicated to providing top shelf products and services to their customers. Continuous training is provided for every department in order to keep current with the latest in manufacturing process and customer service.

Our Drivers

Professionally trained drivers provide drive-away service of trucks to customers in the local area. They are responsible for the safe delivery of our customers trucks and will answer any questions they may have.
